Finally we tailored each flow to look and feel native to each mobile OS to increase adoption and comfort with a new purchase interface.
- Brainstorm a list of items to purchase on a phone. Then go back and review each one. Are there technical limitations? Is too much information required to capture on a phone? Does it make sense to purchase these on a phone vs. desktop?
- Currently the app is tied to a single user so facilitating family/group purchases won’t work. Work with enterprise team to get APIs on the roadmap and keep family/guest flows for Phase 2.
- Map out the flow and decision logic. Consider both guest users and authenticated users – how is the flow different for each?
- Create the experience to quickly purchase the right products and display the products in a meaningful way that users can easily understand and interact with.
