I’m an experienced product manager and UX designer. I drive the big vision and work with my team to translate the needs of an executive-level stake holder to requirements for the most detailed developer. I build teams to be the bridge between the two worlds. I’ve got an eye for marketing and can stand right alongside the sales team in any public engagement. I have a strong desire to deliver the right products to market. I know how to work within a budget, but I will always push for something that the market will want to use – and will enjoy using it. And I strive to encourage my team to find ways to do the same. It’s not always easy, but the right team chemistry can get anything done.

While my focus the past ten years has been in the mobile space, I always look at the overall ecosystem and drive the best user experience; regardless of the technology. To me, it’s important to be onsite as much as possible whenever you’re considering the entire experience of a product. There are so many nuances and ambient factors that can never be properly captured on paper. I’m the one that loves to roll up my sleeves and get out into the field. Go volunteer for an event to see how it’s run and how the product is used. Or shadow both a VP and a developer to not only understand how the whole system works; but how each role needs it to work for them. That’s what drives an amazing product.

I also love a good scotch.
